Mercedes-Benz x PROFITEC Collaboration

We work with PROFITEC German coatings to demonstrate how the same standards of precision, process control, and finish quality found in luxury automotive manufacturing can be applied to architectural and interior surfaces. Our collaboration with Mercedes-Benz was created to make this idea tangible in a real, high-visibility environment.

The project serves as a practical demonstration of what surface quality, material performance, and long-term durability mean when standards are uncompromising. It connects two worlds that share the same expectations: controlled execution, material discipline, and consistent results.

Mercedes-Benz stands for engineering and finish quality

For more than a century, Mercedes-Benz has represented the highest standards of German engineering, precision manufacturing, and design refinement. Every material, surface, and finish in a Mercedes-Benz vehicle is held to strict requirements for durability, visual consistency, and long-term performance.

In this collaboration, Mercedes-Benz serves as a reference point for what finish quality means at the highest level. The project illustrates how the same expectations for precision and material performance can be translated from the automotive world into architectural and interior environments using PROFITEC coating systems.

Artistic demonstration of surface performance

At the centre of these showcases is internationally acclaimed artist Sergey Markofken, known for his dynamic Spin Art technique and large-scale expressive works. His process places unusually high demands on paint behaviour, including flow, colour brilliance, adhesion, and surface consistency.

These works make material performance visible. They show how PROFITEC coatings deliver high opacity, colour stability, and uniform finishes, the same properties required in high-end architectural and interior applications.

German-engineered performance with environmental responsibility

PROFITEC coatings are developed and manufactured in Germany in accordance with strict European quality and environmental standards. Their low-VOC, solvent-free formulations are designed for professional use in environments where air quality, sustainability compliance, and long-term durability are equally critical.

This project shows that environmentally responsible materials do not require compromises in performance, appearance, or service life, a core requirement for modern luxury residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

What this means for architects, designers, and developers

This collaboration demonstrates that the same standards of precision, durability, and surface consistency associated with brands like Mercedes-Benz can be specified for interior and architectural finishes. Projects can be approached with the same attention to material quality, process control, and long-term performance.
