PROFITEC Grundierfarbe P818 is a professional, solvent-free, white pigmented acrylic wall primer developed for opaque, smooth priming and reliable adhesion before subsequent coating with emulsion, silicate, and silicone resin paints.

Designed for mineral substrates and sound existing dispersion coatings, the primer performs especially well on smooth or unevenly absorbent surfaces where standard paints do not provide sufficient bonding. The wall primer suits residential and commercial projects, including villas, apartments, and commercial buildings.

Primer Properties

• Finely filled for smooth, even surfaces
• White pigmented with high hiding power
• Adhesion-promoting primer for difficult and non-siliceable substrates
• Suitable for subsequent coating with emulsion, silicate, and silicone resin paints
• Solvent-free and low VOC (< 10 g/l)

Recommended Applications & Substrates

• Gypsum plasters and gypsum plasterboards
• Plaster and finished plasters
• Concrete and mineral surfaces
• Sound existing dispersion coatings
• Interior and exterior surfaces requiring improved adhesion

Application Method & Coverage

• Apply by brush, roller, or spray (airless possible)
• Apply undiluted or diluted with max. 5% water
• Recommended application temperature: min. +5°C
• Consumption: approx. 160 ml/m² per coat on smooth surfaces
• Overcoatable after approx. 12 hours (at +20°C and 65% RH)
