PROFITEC P805 Grundierkonzentrat 1:7 is a highly concentrated, transparent drying deep primer designed for deep penetration, consolidation, and regulation of highly or unevenly absorbent and slightly sanding substrates. With a dilution ratio of up to 1:7 with water, the product offers excellent efficiency and flexibility for a wide range of priming applications.
The primer penetrates deeply into the substrate, solidifies weak surfaces, and creates a stable, evenly absorbent base for subsequent coatings. Suitable for interior and exterior use, it is ideal for preparing mineral and cementitious surfaces as well as stable, slightly chalking old paints before applying finishing coats.
Primer Properties
- Highly concentrated deep-penetrating primer
- Deep penetration and strong consolidating effect
- Regulates and equalises substrate absorbency
- Can be diluted with water up to 1:7
- Improves adhesion and performance of subsequent coatings
- Suitable for interior and exterior use
- Transparent drying
Recommended Applications & Substrates
- Plasters of mortar groups P II and P III
- Gypsum plasters (mortar group P IV)

- Concrete and aerated concrete
- Slightly chalking but stable old paints
- Slightly sanding or unevenly absorbent mineral substrates
Application Method & Coverage
- Apply by brush, roller, or airless spray
- Dilute with water according to substrate absorbency (up to max. 1:7)
- On highly absorbent or slightly sanding surfaces, apply wet-on-wet until fully saturated
- Recommended application temperature: minimum +5°C
- Consumption: approx. 50–200 ml/m² per coat depending on substrate
- Overcoatable after approx. 6–8 hours (at +20°C and 65% RH)
